The Science we are living Today

The science we are leaving today is what used to be the science. It is not time that really matters in making a scientific knowledge what it is, it is its nature. The nature of time seems too mysterious, yet to be conceptualized in a way which can account for differences in what we truly know about our world and what we do not know it has to be given a finite form. The marriage between matter and time is coming to an end. This has always been so as the impression that time passes makes things to change as well. Should we say things change because we have the impression time passes?

Yet change is becoming an important variable.  Yet too unstable to predict and manipulate. You should be aware that you are reading this article as a result of very important historical changes of a few things; Science and technology. They are undergoing important shifts which have made observation now to be more than ever an important tool in knowledge gathering and generation. It is becoming clearer that the information age is the most critical period in human's evolution.

Not only is it shaping the present but it is shaping the future. Or should We say the past, present and future are one and the same thing. OK until then the science of time is really interesting for the professional scientists, the quantum physicists. How about the common layman?

Is there enough information on/in this photo to know how it was taken? Yet it tells us as much climatic change, environmental pollution , health, education.  Just concepts, no not just concepts, Science!  Photo Didier  De Masso

The science we are experiencing today is changing fast enough for us to change the way we should perceive the very elements that makes it. Information , the way we communicate about the things we know and want to know or do not know. It is not just science communication it is also about science journalism. How the information about facts is changing the way we live.

Science should be democratized. Science literacy is an important skill you should have. What a lovely melody there!

The ICT-Kulture is spreading in Cameroon like in most parts of the world in an exponential rate. With it a growing threat to the very thing that makes science what it is : accurate facts,  reliable information. The information disorders are now playing an important role in how any form of cultural information has to be treated. We humans are a cultural entity. There is none like us in the cosmos.

If you are reading this, it means science matters to you. You are right it should. From coronavirus to quantum physics passing through mental health and health, or from humanitarian conflicts passing by geopolitics through environmental and climatic change what is common? Enjoy your cogitation!
